How would you react?
- keep focused on the work at hand

- your colleague says this:
- The marketing team think(s) the launch is on Tuesday.
- But the design team think(s) it's on Wednesday. what's going on?
- do you say:
- they must have **got their knickers in a twist **
- they must have **got their wires crossed**
- blunt
- to get your knickers in a twist = lose your self-control, blow up
- to get your wires crossed = get sth. wrong, confused sth., different understanding of the same situation
- your colleague looks stressed.
- She says: I've got to do these reports, I've got to pick up the kids from school, run a presentation, ring my grandmother up…
- what might be a good response?
