  • Meeting mit Jason:
    • Idee:
      • Wir knüpfen Kontakte zu Enterprise Architekten und somit auch für späteren Austausch zu konzeptionellen Fragen
      • BDO USA macht das alles im Microsoft Umfeld und hat ein strategisches Interesse daran die VICO Plattform auf Microsoft zu bringen – dem müssen wir nicht, können wir aber folgen.
      • BDO Global sieht eine bessere Möglichkeit VICO Produkte international zu positionieren wenn diese in der Cloud stattfinden (und meint damit MSFT)
      • Wir sollten für uns prüfen welchen Teil unseres Produkte wir ggf. in der Cloud betreiben können. Insbesondere wäre es doch spannend zu sehen ob unsere neue Applikation nicht direkt in diesem Kontext entwickelt wird.
      • Entlang dieser Gespräche können wir die Optionen für die Migration unserer Infrastruktur ergänzen
      • Bitte überlegt, wen aus dem Team  (1 – max. 2 Personen) wir in dieses initiale Gespräch mit hinzunehmen können / wollen. Primär entlang der von Euch kürzlich angesprochenen Wünsche und Perspektiven einzelner Kollegen böte sich hier die Möglichkeit eine Richtung einzuschlagen.
    • Last time we met with Rich & Emmanuel you requested someone to help evaluate your journey & plan for hosting your Data environment in Microsoft Azure. With the goal of getting things transitioned into BDO and potentially to leverage our alignment with Microsoft.
    • I have given Jason a little context on what you do for clients and what evaluation you are desiring. Assume this might be 1-2 meetings of his time reviewing details with your team as follows:
    • Functional Review
      • What environments exist today and what is the ideal end state.
        • Is this a BDO hosted environment, or can we deploy to client specific instances?
        • Is it possible to host in Azure where there is credit of BDO influencing that environment (this is how we measure success with Microsoft).
        • Are there gaps of knowledge or resourcing to complete the project work of transitioning environments?
    • Technical Review
      • Is there an architecture & migration plan already outlined being driving by your internal team?
        • Is there possibility to align the solution as a Hero Path solution?
        • Do you want validation of the solution?
        • Do you need support executing?
    • BDO Digital using Terraform for Hardware Orchestration
    • Anderer Schnitt durch die Architektur z.B. pro Customer, um auch einfacher Ressourcen wieder los zu werden
    • Consumption Based ... Serverless nicht empfohlen für wichtige Daten
